Ribbon Cutting at Simpsonville Rotary Club's New Location
Join us for a Ribbon Cutting to commemorate Simpsonville Rotary Club's new weekly meeting location at 205 North Maple Street.
The Rotary Club of Simpsonville announces the opening of its new meeting hall located at 205 North Maple Street. A ribbon cutting celebration is planned for Wednesday, August 2nd at 1:15pm following the Club’s weekly lunch meeting. The Rotary Club of Simpsonville is moving from its current meeting location on Main Street. The Club boasts 50 members, some of whom have been with the Club for over 30 years. Mr. Ralph Hendricks, long standing community benefactor, is a charter member of the club.
“We look forward to continuing our efforts to serve the Simpsonville community in our new location,” said Marti Stegall, 2017-2018 Club President. “From here, we will be able to pursue our mission, welcome new members, and be successful for years to come.”
The Rotary Club of Simpsonville is an organization that serves the people in our community and around the world. Locally, our Rotary Club provides dictionaries to every public school 3rd grader in Simpsonville, annual scholarships to high school seniors, sponsors the Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Simpsonville program, and contributes to the GHS Family YMCA’s annual campaign. Rotary International through the support of local clubs and global foundations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, have come close to eradicating polio across the world.
