DESCRIPTION:Community Fest @ Greenville Tech will be held on Saturday\, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the college's Barton Campus. This is a fun day of learning for the whole family with hands-on activities and demonstrations.\n\n \n\nFood truck concessions will be available for purchase at the free event. The first 1\,000 people will receive a gift bag\, and one lucky attendee will receive a 43" television.\n\n \n\nOpportunities to play\, discover\, and experience will include stations dedicated to 3D printing\, an ambulance simulator that provides the look and feel of a real ambulance ride\, CPR training\, arts and crafts\, a culinary demo on how to prepare eggs multiple ways\, robotics demonstrations\, a puppet show with dental care tips\, and much more. Attendees can ride a trike with square wheels\, make their own slime\, learn how to repurpose the Halloween pumpkin as a Thanksgiving centerpiece\, and practice pet first aid on stuffed animals. \n\n \n\nSponsors of the event include New Horizon Family Health Services\, Corley Plumbing Air Electric\, Bosch Rexroth Corp.\, Fairway Ford\, and the Greenville Tech Foundation. \n\n \n\nTo RSVP\, go to www.GTCFest.eventbrite.com.
