DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, December 5\, 2021 the Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce and City of Simpsonville will proudly host Simpsonville's Annual Christmas Parade\, Presented by Weichert Realtors Shaun & Shari Group. We are excited for the parade to return to Main Street this year! This year's event will feature an overall theme (National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation) and awards for the best entries.\n\n \n\nWhat is the new parade route?\n\n\n\nThe 2021 parade route will run north to south along N.E. & S.E. Main Street through downtown. Our Presenting Sponsor is Weichert Realtors - Shaun & Shari Group\, and their office will be the starting point for the parade this year. They are located on N.E. Main Street at S. Pliney Circle.\n\n\n\nThe ending point will be at S.E. Main Street and Loma Street at the King Tut Grill.\n\n\n\nSignage will be placed along the route to alert the public of the new starting point.\n\n\n\n**ROAD CLOSURE will begin @ 1:00pm on Sunday\, 12/5:\n\nNE Main Street will be closed off @ Highway 14 & NE Main. SE Main Street will be closed off @ Loma Street & SE Main. \n\n \n\nWhat does the theme "Christmas Vacation" mean?\n\nChannel your inner Clark Griswold when planning your parade decorations this year! We've chosen the "Christmas Vacation" theme to have the hap-hap-happiest Christmas! Hopefully we won't freeze our baguettes off! The interpretation of the theme is up to each individual entrant\; we can't wait to see how everyone decorates!\n\n \n\nWhat awards will be given this year?\n\nAwards will be given to the first\, second\, and third place winners of the People's Choice Award.
