DESCRIPTION:Our annual golf tournament is one of our members' best-loved events! Local business leaders enjoy networking on the greens followed by a barbecue dinner at the clubhouse.\n\n\n\nThose who enjoy playing golf are invited to enter a team\, and non-golfers are invited to participate as a sponsor or volunteer. Many sponsors opt to set up on a hole for interaction with golfers all day\, making the event more fun for everyone. The Simpsonville Area Chamber's annual golf tournament welcomes up to 25 foursomes and the dinner hosts up to 150 guests.\n\n\n\nThe SWING portion of the day begins at 12:00pm with lunch & registration and a shotgun start at 1:00pm. The tournament follows the Captain's Choice format. Representatives from local businesses are out on the holes with games\, contests\, and (of course) cold beverages! Teams typically finish up by 5:00pm\, which is when the "SWINE" portion of the day begins!\n\n\n\nThe SWINE portion of the day kicks off as the golfers finish on the course\, and includes barbecue and sides.
