Chamber Presents Lunch & Learn Series: Keeping Financial Distress Out of the Workplace
Our June topic will be "Keeping Financial Distress Out of the Workplace," Presented by Luke Crumbaker of the Greenville Financial Empowerment Center.
Lesson Overview:
What is the elephant in the room when it comes to employees attitudes, morale, and productivity...? Data shows that it is Personal Financial Distress.
30-80% of workers think about their financial situations while at work, and many even deal with personal financial matters while on the clock. They may be talking with their co-workers about their financial stress, paying bills while on shift, reviewing their expenses before lunch, or actively calling creditors (or being called by collections agents.)
As an employer, you can provide resources to help them ease that stress and increase their productivity - for FREE! Explore the options with Luke Crumbaker and the Financial Empowerment Center.
Financial Education Programs in the workplace go a long way toward allaying workers' financial stress, while also improving their attitude, morale, and productivity. To that end, including financial education into employee assistance programs can be a great way to allow your employees to deal with their financial stress in a healthy and confidential way.
Chamber Presents Lunch & Learns are held monthly on the fourth Tuesday and feature a guest speaker and information to help grow your business.
