Casting for Recovery Carolinas provides healing outdoor weekend retreats to women in NC/SC of any age and at any stage of Breast Cancer at no cost to the women. Currently we hold one retreat a year and we are able to accomodate 14 women. We are working towards holding two retreats annually. All monies raised by our chapter stay in the Carolinas. Our retreats are held at Lake Logan in Canton, NC.

Since its opening in 2008, Pelham Medical Center has been a multifaceted facility for expert medical care. The facility offers emergency care services with low wait times, primary physician care, full diagnostic capabilities, medical and surgical specialties, surgery and a world-class cancer center. Kristi Hun, mammography outreach manager with Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health will share information about screening mammograms, 3D mammography, the mammography assistance program and the mobile mammography unit. Every woman is at risk for breast cancer and your risk increases with age. According to the American College of Radiology, women with no symptoms or breast cancer should have a screening mammogram every year starting at age 40.

Monthly sponsorships are $150 and include 5-10 minutes to share information and marketing collateral with guests.
Interested in spotlighting a local charity?
Featured charities will be local non-profit organizations that serve constituents in Simpsonville and the Upstate. Requested donations from guests may range from items like coats/winter warmth items, health/hygiene products, school supplies, etc. and should be directly relevant to the organization's mission.
