SC Works Greenville is now accepting applications for Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) Grants

The application deadline has been extended to 09/30/19. This opportunity is for any businesses who have plans to conduct training for their existing workers during October 2019 – June 30, 2020. Even if plans are not already in place, if there is interest, please consider applying.

SOLICITATION FOR INCUMBENT WORKER TRAINING GRANTS
 
SC Works Greenville is now accepting applications for Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) Grants.  IWT grant funds will be available for the businesses located in Greenville County. IWT grants will be issued for employers to upgrade the skills of their current employees. IWT grants provide opportunities for training in programs ranging from computer skills to manufacturing skills. Please only apply for training that begins on or after October 1, 2019 and can be completed by June 30, 2020.
 
Applications received by the deadline will be reviewed by a committee of the Greenville County Workforce Development Board to determine awards to businesses.
 
Greenville County businesses should refer to www.greenvillewib.com to access the Incumbent Worker training application and deadlines.  Applications may be delivered in person or by postal mail to SC Works Greenville, 225 S. Application Deadline Date:  2:00 p.m., Monday September 30, 2019.  No late applications, regardless of postmark, will be considered.)
